Minemakers is an ASX listed resources company based in Western Australia. The company owns a number of projects around the country covering a range of commodities including phosphate, tin, tungsten, fluorspar, magnetite and salt.
Wonarah hosts the largest JORC compliant phosphate rock resource in Australia totaling 1.2billion tonnes at 18.8% P205. Mining will be by shallow open pits up to 60 metres in depth, with initial production targeting approximately 3Mtpa within two years.
The project is to be developed in two stages. The first stage involves the production of Direct Shipping Ore (DSO) whereby high-grade ore is mined, crushed and screened and the sized product shipped directly to customers.
In Stage II the company will construct a full beneficiation plant that will be used to treat lower grade material to produce a higher grade finished product.
Minemakers philosophy is to minimise its capital expenditure by contracting out many aspects of the operation. Major packages of work that will be tendered over the coming months include;
- mining crushing and screening
- transport of product from mine site to ships hold
- road construction
- airport construction
- air charter
- fuel supply
- rehabilitation
- supply of light vehicles
- construction and lease of villages at Wonarah and Tennant Creek
- catering and cleaning
- power supply
- borefield installation
- communications
Tender documents will only be issued to selected contractors who are able to meet our requirements in terms of competence, experience and financial soundness. Initial enquiries should be made via the ICN.
